Police involved in shooting at Martinez cannabis dispensary MARTINEZ, Calif. (KRON) -- There is a large police presence following an attempted burglary and shooting on Sunrise Drive off of Pacheco Drive in Martinez Friday morning. Police received a report of a video alarm at Velvet, a cannabis dispensary, at around 3:27 a.m., according to the Martinez Police Department.Police were advised that there were multiple suspects and two vehicles at the business.According to the owners of the cannabis shop, they received a call from the Martinez Police Department notifying them of an attempted burglary. After 10 p.m., a Cruise car entered the intersection on a green light when it was struck by a fire truck that appeared to be on its way to an emergency scene. Witnesses at the scene told KRON4 the emergency vehicle had its lights flashing and sirens on at the time. The crash happened while the firetruck was in "Code 3" emergency mode, meaning the fire truck's lights and siren were activated, the San Francisco Police Department said.
